At Prairie Inspirations we focus on creating and teaching heritage and fiber arts inspired by the prairie which surrounds the farm where we live in Northeast Kansas.
Our ancestors were self-sufficient and conservative. We appreciate the work our ancestors did and the skills they possessed in their work. At Prairie Inspirations we want to make sure these skills are not lost and so we want to pass on these heritage crafts as well as learn and share other means of expression through the work of our hands and imagination. We want to share what we have learned through reading, watching, experimenting and practicing our crafts over many years.
